Make cyber hygiene part of your routine

These are some practices that may help you stay safe online:

Update your software/application regularly — be it your mobile, windows, Linux, or any other.

Use network firewalls — firewalls are your 1st line of defense. Do’not turn them off until you are absolutely sure about what you are doing

Use MFA — I can't stress enough how useful it can be. It provides an additional layer of protection

Check the site that you are visiting — are they HTTP or HTTPS? the S in HTTPS stands for secure.

An authentic password manager for storing complex passwords. Choose password managers carefully. Avoid using the same password for different accountd

Update your router firmware consistently

encrypt cloud storage

avoid clicking on suspicious links or mails

DO not post private information about your credit card, debit card or any info that can be used against you in a social engineering attack
